Our History

Kairos was formed by Amy and Dave Hollander in 1993 to fill a gap in the church's line up of Adult Sunday School classes. Starting with a gang of eight, it has now grown to around 50 (wow!) and has had to move its meeting room twice. Our Sunday classes are mainly lead by Kairos members, although we often have guest speakers. We try to provide a mixture of subjects, ranging from Bible studies, hot issues in the news, learning about the meaning behind our church rituals, organizations and even songs among others.

We have regular planning meetings at which everyone is encouraged to bring up topics they'd like to learn about or see discussed.
